About Beck Row Bikers

It all started just over 8 years ago
A bunch of friends were discussing why there wasn't a meeting in our area, after some research (club etiquette, other clubs in the area, etc) we decided to start our own club.
First order of business was to set a name, we decided to name it after the village it is based in; Beck Row. Second order of business was to sign up the club to BMF to gain affiliation, free club pitch at BMF shows, discounts etc. After the 2 nd year we decided to introduce some rules and a 3 strike system after having a few misguided members. The rules were brought in mainly to cover ourselves or to use when things went wrong/complaints. Thankfully we've only used them once since they were brought in.

Club Aims
1- Organise ride outs, club events (see past events page.
2- Support local biker events (see whats on page). 3- Support local bikers. 4- Answer motorcycle/traffic law/insurance/maintenance & any other bike related questions 5- Just have a good time

The Club Logo.
It's like Marmite! 'ya love it or hate it'!
It is part of a bigger artwork called Hell Spawn where he's jumping off a boulder with flames (of hell) behind him. He IS a Gargoyle; if any of you know your ancient history you'll know that gargoyles were used on churches to ward off evil. He's been doing a grand job so far with the club.

The Pub
Beck Row only has three pubs, one has gravel parking, which doesn't mix with bikes! We picked the Rose & Crown pub to hold our meetings, for the first few years it was ideal. Then new landlords took over and things didn't work out. We moved the meetings to the Bird in Hand right by the base; we've been there for 2ish years. May 2008 the Rose & Crown changed hands and the new landlord is a biker, wants to expand the 'bike scene' and invited us back.
So now we are back 'home' where it all started.
